✅ Position Overview
The Senior Manager – Spatial Intelligence, Innovation & Client Engagement is a strategic consulting leader who combines technical depth with business acumen. You’ll own client success, drive modernization, and lead delivery excellence across GIS, AI, and IT projects.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, strategy, and relationships — and who leads through support, clarity, and collaboration. We’re looking for someone who influences how organizations adopt modern geospatial solutions while keeping people at the center of innovation.
This role blends:
Project leadership & delivery management
Oversight of GIS, AI, and IT integration strategies
Innovation, solution design, and service development
Client engagement & strategic account growth
Staff leadership, coaching, and utilization management
✅ Key Responsibilities
Lead enterprise GIS, AI, and IT modernization initiatives from discovery through deployment, ensuring strategic alignment and delivery excellence.
Oversee solution architecture and integration of Esri technologies with IT systems, cloud platforms, and security frameworks.
Drive adoption of AI-powered workflows, automation, predictive analytics, and modern geospatial practices.
Guide client strategy through workshops, assessments, and executive briefings, translating technical concepts into business value.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on technology roadmaps and modernization planning.
Build and mentor a high-performing consulting team, fostering collaboration and growth.
Manage budgets, utilization, and project quality to support sustainable growth.
✅ Required Experience
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 7+ years in GIS consulting or enterprise geospatial leadership
Proven success in project and financial management, including budgets, staffing, timelines, and utilization
Expertise with Esri technologies: ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, Field Maps, Survey123; plus additional knowledge of other Esri applications such as ArcGIS Indoors, ArcGIS Velocity, ArcGIS Urban, ArcGIS Hub, etc.
Strong IT integration skills: cloud architecture (Azure/AWS), security frameworks, APIs, and system design
Experience implementing AI/GeoAI workflows, automation, and predictive analytics
Exceptional communication and facilitation skills; ability to present to executive audiences
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, mentor staff, and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
Proven ability to lead with support, clarity, and collaboration — enabling teams to perform at their best in fast-moving consulting environments
Ability to travel 20-30% for workshops, onsite discovery, enterprise deployments, and client engagement.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Python scripting, SQL, DevOps pipelines, and enterprise architecture
Industry experience in government, utilities, engineering, or commercial sectors
Prior consulting experience delivering multi-stakeholder modernization initiatives
Experience developing technology roadmaps and strategic modernization programs
